The Onalaska Wildcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-24 loss at the hands of Anderson-Shiro. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Onalaska has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Onalaska still got an impressive performance from Mary Joy Cariaga, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaylan Linear, who scored five points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Onalaska struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Onalaska are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13. As for Anderson-Shiro, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home.
Onalaska will take on Coldspring-Oakhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will head out on the road to square off against Crockett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crockett is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
