It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Avon Pirates had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Faulkton and snuck past 32-30. The victory was familiar territory for Avon who now have five in a row.
Avon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Faulkton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 10-2.
Avon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Faulkton also has no future games currently scheduled.
