Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead David Anderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Lively, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Smyth, who scored ten points along with five assists and four steals.
David Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Heartland Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
David Anderson will head out on the road to face off against Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southern presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than David Anderson in Ohio (Southern is ranked 172nd, while David Anderson is ranked 592nd). Heartland Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
