Ash Grove came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-2 to the Conway Bears. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Ash Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Burks, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Burks hit this season.

Ash Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Conway, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Ash Grove will square off against Sarcoxie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conway, they will challenge Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
