This season hasn't been kind to The Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats, who are still winless after their ninth game. They were the victim of a rough 44-24 loss at the hands of Eldorado on Friday. Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton lost against Eldorado in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 48-26 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Briar Rowland. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Rowland was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 68 yards.
Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton's loss was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Eldorado, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.
Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eldorado is also done with their season.
