Truell Came Up Big in New Hampstead's 34-22 Defeat
Starting off the list is New Hampstead's Rashawn Truell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Truell threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 300 passing yards dating back to last season.
Truell and New Hampstead will host Wayne County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Truell took on the Yellow Jackets, he threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Kory Pettigrew produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Perry to the win on Friday. Pettigrew picked up 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 67 yards.
Pettigrew and Perry will challenge Benedictine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Pettigrew up against the Cadets' star pass catcher Joshua Washington. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

Bubba Frazier was a major factor in Benedictine's win over Wayne County on Friday. Wayne County had no answer to Frazier as he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards. Frazier is becoming a predictor of Benedictine's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

On Friday, Benedictine got the W thanks in part to Jack Ganem playing the best football he has all season. Ganem picked up 156 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ganem and Benedictine will look to defend their home field on Friday against Perry at 7:30 p.m. Ganem will face off against Kiel Sparks, the Panthers' star receiver. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
