Lewis suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Hayfield 79-35. Lewis has struggled against Hayfield recently, as their match on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Falls Church has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Lewis, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-12.
Everything came up roses for Falls Church against Lewis when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 58-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Falls Church since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
