Make it five blowout wins for the Mancos Bluejays this season. They breezed by Ridgway at home to the tune of 58-28 on Saturday. With Mancos ahead 38-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Perhaps the best among them was Claire Goodwin, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Teya Yeomans, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Ridgway's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Berwanger, who scored four points along with two steals. Sophia Scranton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Mancos has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Ridgway, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mancos will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dove Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. Ridgway will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Miners at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st. Hopefully Telluride focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 39 on Wednesday.
