Greenville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Mcgreevey, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcgreevey has scored all season. Chace Drew was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Stebbins' victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Greenville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stebbins will face off against Troy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Troy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Greenville, they will head out on the road to face off against West Carrollton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. West Carrollton is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
