On Friday, the Parkway North Vikings's game was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 43-38 W over Parkway South. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Parkway North also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Parkway South's loss came despite strong showings from Ryan Shanfeld and Joseph Mallory. Shanfeld scored ten points, while Mallory scored nine points along with five assists.
Parkway North's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Parkway South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Parkway North's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Stars at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Parkway South, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. Hazelwood East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Patriots in Missouri (the Spartans are ranked 146th, while the Patriots are ranked 316th).
