After a string of five wins, Homestead's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Catholic Memorial Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Homestead's offense was headlined by William Gefke and Alex Konon, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sean Contardi and his 14 assists.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Catholic Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Homestead will take on Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Catholic Memorial, they will head out on the road to face off against Waukesha West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
