The Quartz Hill Royals are taking a road trip to  square off against the Highland Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.

 Quartz Hill wouldn't let Shadow Ridge keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Javontai Wisdom,  Daryl Lawrence, and  Jovan Jiles picked up one apiece.
 Meanwhile, Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They had to suffer through a   63-6 loss at the hands of Mission Viejo. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  49-0.
 Quartz Hill's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 2-1. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Quartz Hill was able to grind out a solid  victory over Highland when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, winning  21-14. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Highland's  Justin Wyatt Jr., who threw for 113 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 58 yards on only five carries. Now that he's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Quartz Hill still be able to contain  Wyatt Jr.? There's only one way to find out.
