There's no place like home for Riverton, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Fremont  a   15-0 shutout  on Friday. Riverton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Lexi Huntley looked comfortable as she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Riverton got a  massive  performance out of  Maggie Hamblin, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most  RBI  Hamblin has posted  over her last 11  games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaydan Bushman, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Riverton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fremont only posted  an  OBP of  .182.
Riverton pushed their record up to 24-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fremont,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-14.
