 Caylee Singleton made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Payton Hurst was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Madi Rains, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Whitley County's record is now 14-18. As for McCreary Central, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Whitley County will challenge Barbourville at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for McCreary Central, they will take on Pineville at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
