Tottenville had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Newtown Pioneers a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Pirates have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
