Tri County strolled past Exeter-Milligan/Friend with points to spare, taking the game 43-24. Given Tri County's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Exeter-Milligan/Friend is ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tri County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Bales, who scored 14 points. Drew Siems was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Tri County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
