North Marion has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Lewis County Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully North Marion focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but North Marion had to settle for a 55-52 loss against the Bearcats.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Lewis County's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. The game between them and East Fairmont wasn't particularly close, with Lewis County falling 59-43. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lewis County in their matchups with the Bees: they've now lost four in a row.
North Marion dropped their record down to 6-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lewis County, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.
North Marion strolled past the Minutemen in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 70-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Marion since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
