Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Itasca). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Penelope Wolverines 67-14. The win was some much needed relief for the Wampus Cats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Itasca's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Penelope, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Itasca has already played their next game, a 36-24 win against Blum on the 6th. As for Penelope, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 31-15 loss against Bynum on the 7th.
