Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centralia). They put the hurt on the Blue Valley Rams with a sharp 16-1 win on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Centralia's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Centralia and Blue Valley will both be playing Valley Heights the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rams will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
