Basketball Recap: Ben Holt College Prep Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Ben Holt College Prep Academy extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Truc Huynh. The Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats walked away with a 65-54 win over the Florin Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Huynh, who posted 19 points along with eight boards and six steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Asa Gonsalves, who put up 15 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Florin, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-49 win against Elliot Christian on the 11th. As for Florin, they will host Rosemont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
