The Bristow Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Poteau 57-24 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bristow.
It was another big night for Addi Alexander, who scored 28 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Bristow's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Yocham, who scored 11 points.
Bristow's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Poteau, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristow and McLoud will face off on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
