River Bluff moved up to 156 from 202 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freelance. The Gators climbed the ranks as a result of besting Hickory Grove Christian 45-21.
Pee Dee Academy lost to Clarendon Hall 38-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Thanks to the talents of Korey Thomas and Chandler Tisdale, the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Thomas is tops in the league in passing with 600 yards, while Tisdale has rushed for 1,343 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Christian Academy's Austin Guyton, with 324 yards on 14 catches.
River Bluff made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,541 from 11,638. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 45-21 victory over the Lions last week.
