Shelton extended the longest winning streak in D2 District 6 (8 Man) this week by beating Lawrence-Nelson, 52-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Kenesaw took down Amherst 66-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tyler Schnitzler threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 70 yards in the win.
Jacob Jelden made the biggest impact on defense this week as Axtell bested Wilcox-Hildreth. The 5-foot-8 junior pulled down two interceptions and recorded one fumble.
Jelden was the best wideout in the league this week as the Wildcats defeated the Falcons. Jelden tallied four receptions for 106 yards.
Jordan Miller provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Axtell beat Wilcox-Hildreth. He completed three passes for 88 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 133 yards.
On the ground, Shelton's Luke Glenn has rushed for 1054 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jelden. The Axtell star has 11 catches for 324 yards.
