The Ness City Eagles won the last time they faced the Kinsley Coyotes, and things went their way on Friday too. Ness City really took it to Kinsley for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-10 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Ness City has managed all season.
Ness City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Savannah Buller out in front who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiana Smith, who scored 11 points.
The win got Ness City back to even at 3-3. As for Kinsley, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ness City has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Dighton at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Dighton is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Kinsley will be home for the holidays to greet St. John on Tuesday. St. John presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kinsley in Kansas (St. John is ranked 45th, while Kinsley is ranked 257th).
