The Central Falls Warriors had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 44-31 victory over Lincoln School. That looming 44-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Central Falls yet this season.
Lincoln School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Reign Whiteing, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks, and Sarah Berube who scored eight points. Whiteing has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times she's played.
Central Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lincoln School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Exeter-West Greenwich the next time they take the court. Central Falls will host Exeter-West Greenwich at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Lincoln School will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
