Pine Grove proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Falkner Eagles 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since May 18, 2024.

Anaston Christian was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Reagan Childs was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Pine Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Pine Grove's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Falkner, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
