Timberline is 2-8 against Mountain View since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Timberline will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Timberline is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Thunder Ridge, who was ranked ninth at the time (Timberline was ranked fourth). Timberline had just enough and edged out Thunder Ridge 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mountain View's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Timberline has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game.
