Plymouth Christian Academy came tearing into  Saturday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   6-5 W against the Clawson Trojans.
 Sophie Paryaski and  Clara Groen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Paryaski   kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Groen   struck out ten batters over  four innings while giving up  four earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Paryaski has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 14 consecutive appearances. At the plate,  Paryaski  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Groen  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
