Last Friday, Roosevelt faced Dunbar in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Roosevelt was dealt a 36-7 loss at the hands of Dunbar.
Roosevelt's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Deyon Smith, who rushed for 124 yards on only 12 carries, and Ethan Walker who rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Dunbar, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Roosevelt was dealt a bruising 36-7 defeat at the hands of Dunbar when the teams last played on Friday. Can Roosevelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
