Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deshler). They strolled past the Sheffield Bulldogs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 83-66. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Deshler is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Sheffield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Deshler is taking a road trip to challenge Hatton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sheffield, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Central at 7:00 p.m.
