The West Clermont Wolves will face off against the Milford Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Milford will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: West Clermont extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Wolves blew past Loveland 58-23. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.

West Clermont can attribute much of their success to Bella Swisshelm, who shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards, and Layla Hale, who shot 67% from the field on her way to 22 points and four steals. The matchup was Swisshelm's third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedi Campbell, who posted six points.
West Clermont was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loveland only racked up six.
Meanwhile, Milford really took it to Turpin for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-19 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.
Milford's win came from a few key players West Clermont will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gabby Chadwell, who put up 13 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season. Kylie Perone was another key player, going 9-for-10 en route to 18 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Milford's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Clermont, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: West Clermont has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 39.1% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Milford, though, as they've only made 29.3% of their three-pointers this season. Given West Clermont's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
West Clermont couldn't quite get it done against Milford in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 58-51. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
