Rice Memorial had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mt. Abraham Eagles as they made off with a 19-9 victory. This was a revenge game for the Green Knights: when they faced off against the Eagles two weeks ago, they had to take a 13-7 defeat.
Bella Messineo and March Lumbra did most of the damage at the plate: Messineo went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Lumbra went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
