Coweta will square off against Tahlequah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coweta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Coweta turned things around against Nathan Hale on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Rangers. Considering the Tigers have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Trace Hall made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Braxton Barnes looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

Back at the plate, Jackson Plyler was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sutter Winsworth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Tahlequah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to Panama.
Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Tahlequah, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.
Coweta might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Tahlequah in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Coweta avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
