Lower Richland's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pa'nanjala Curry, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds. Taelor Hiller-Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Lower Richland struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ridge View racked up 11.
Ridge View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janiya Carter, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anasia Harvey, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Lower Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ridge View, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
