After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three contests, The Lutheran Northwest Crusaders finally came back down to earth on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 28-0 loss at the hands of Everest Collegiate. Lutheran Northwest has struggled against Everest Collegiate recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
JJ Helmer threw for 115 yards on six of 17 attempts. Rudy Hauss was his top target, gaining 75 total yards.
Lutheran Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Everest Collegiate, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Lutheran Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Everest Collegiate will be playing at home against Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cardinal Mooney Catholic is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
