Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartfield Academy). They blew past the Heritage Academy Patriots 49-21 on Friday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hartfield Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Collin McIntyre, who rushed for 170 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries. McIntyre also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Hawks are 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise. Another signal caller making a difference was Ethan Elliott, who threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.
