Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Ground). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Hudson's Bay Eagles 55-10. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Battle Ground's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marissa Loveall, who went 9 for 18 en route to 19 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Loveall a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lola Cooper, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 16 points and four steals.

Battle Ground was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Battle Ground and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for Hudson's Bay, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Battle Ground will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Battle Ground has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Hudson's Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 68-2 loss against Woodland on the 10th.
