Germantown came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 65-61 win over the Marquette University Hilltoppers. The 65-point effort marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Germantown pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.3 points per game. As for Marquette University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
