The Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 73-49 walloping at the hands of Shenandoah Valley.
Brandon Boris went supernova for Shenandoah Valley, going 11 for 23 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and 1 assists. Boris set a new season high mark in steals with three. Brady Najda was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Shenandoah Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will face off against Muncy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Columbia Montour Vo-Tech likes a good challenge. As for Shenandoah Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Antietam at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Antietam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
