Badger is 2-8 against Westosha Central since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Badgers will be playing at home against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Badger has four straight wins, Westosha Central has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Badger earned a 9-5 victory over Woodstock North. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by exactly four runs.
Jack Andersen looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan McCarthy, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley McCarthy, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Westosha Central didn't have quite enough to beat Mukwonago on Friday and fell 4-2.
Anthony Sirocchi was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Westosha Central is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-7 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Joe Suokko was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.
Badger's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Westosha Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
