Norwalk's  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Columbian, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-4.
 Norwalk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-1  defeat against Monroeville on the 17th. As for Columbian, they have also already played their next game,  a  3-2  victory against Mohawk on the 13th.
