Kaden Carter Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Lamar County, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will take on Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Rashod Daniel Leads Putnam County over Towers
Rashod Daniel produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Putnam County to the win on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Putnam County is 2-1 when Daniel posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
Daniel and Putnam County will venture away from home to square off against Lamar County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Daniel up against the Trojans' star RB Zyquavius Hughley. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Hardge Came Up Big in Social Circle's 38-19 Win
Social Circle picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jameccus Hardge. Hardge did his part (and then some), rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
If history really does repeat itself, Hardge might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jasper County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hardge saw the Hurricanes), he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle
Another Social Circle player making an appearance on this list is Jude Nelson. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.
