1A-2 Region IV District 14 recap October 8, 2013
Falls City extended the longest winning streak in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this week by beating Charlotte, 58-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Beavers.
Falls City took down the Trojans 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach Jimerson threw for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 43 yards in the win.
Steve Marbach's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Justin Twine chipped in 118 yards. Austen Camber helped Falls City's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 30 yards.
The Beavers' dynamic duo of Jimerson and Gabe Jimerson proved tough for Charlotte to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Camber helped Falls City's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 30 yards.
Falls City's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Beavers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dean Gaskamp has thrown for 499 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Camber has 11 catches for 214 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Woodsboro takes on second place Runge.
