There's no place like home for the Powdersville Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past Southside 53-24 at home. With Powdersville ahead 36-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Powdersville found their leader in underclassman Amari Rambert, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Raegan Bryant was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Powdersville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Southside, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
