The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northern Lehigh, who took down 167th ranked Bangor, 34-27.
The Bulldogs moved up to 198 from 240 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. Northern Lehigh was able to make move up by beating the Slaters 34-27.
Wilson Area's dynamic duo of Ryan Dailey and Zack Bogoly proved tough for Salisbury Township to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dailey threw for 383 yards and two touchdowns and Bogoly had 252 yards receiving. Trey Robinson helped Wilson Area's passing attack out by catching three balls for 91 yards.
Philip Vass was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 34 carries, he ran for 235 yards as Bangor topped the Falcons. Teammate Josh Pensyl added to the ground attack by rushing for 24 yards.
Wilson Area's Dailey and Bogoly have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dailey has thrown for 1364 yards this season, while Bogoly, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 42 catches for 892 yards. Frank Scagliotta's team's Vass leads the league in rushing yards with 1501.
Pen Argyl's Mike Racciato needs only 49 yards against Palmerton next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 158 carries Racciato has accumulated 951 yard this year.
A big matchup in Colonial this week will be when Catasauqua takes on Joe Tout's team. The Rough Riders are in first place, while the Bulldogs are in fourth place.
Catasauqua extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Blue Bombers, 48-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for Tom Falzone's team.
