Glenn has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  face off against the Westville Blackhawks at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Glenn's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Westville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 On Monday, Glenn earned  a  6-1 victory over South Bend Riley.
  Joe Chrapliwy made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk). Chrapliwy was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Chase Miller was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Mekhi Pulluaim, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Westville never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against 21st Century Charter last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp  20-10 win. Considering Westville's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Like Glenn, Westville also got a great game from a two-way player:  Lucas Sonaty. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Sonaty was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 In other batting news,  Joey Villarreal was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.  Rory Bradney was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Glenn now  has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Westville, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-7.
 Everything went Glenn's way against Westville in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023 as Glenn made off with  a  12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glenn since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
