Napoleon hasn't had much luck against Bryan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. Napoleon's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Bryan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Napoleon took a 12-run defeat the last time they faced off against Anthony Wayne, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats skirted past the Generals 4-2.

Arianna Kiessling (Jr) spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Addy Thompson Jr) was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Bryan owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. Everything went their way against Patrick Henry as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Golden Bears in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.
Thea Staten was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 20 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reese Ruffer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Averyann Fisher, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Bryan pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Napoleon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.
Napoleon suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Bryan in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
