CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - After taking the lead in the fourth quarter,
Orange (Hillsborough, N.C.) held on for a 6-0 victory over
Chapel Hill (N.C.) on Saturday. The difference for the Panthers was that
Garrett Cloer threw a touchdown to
Ky Muller.
The score was knotted at zero heading into the half. The Panthers took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown pass by Cloer to Muller in the fourth quarter.
Orange came into the game allowing 7.1 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Chapel Hill, who notched a 28-24 victory over Northern Vance in its previous outing.
In a 3A Conference 11 game next week Chapel Hill (3-5) takes on Cardinal Gibbons, and Orange (8-0) will go up against Webb also in a 3A Conference 11 game.
