The Alberton Panthers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 92-40 loss at the hands of Two Eagle River. Alberton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Two Eagle River apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Two Eagle River found their leader in underclassman Talon Addison, who scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Addison has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Addison, who scored 21 points.
Alberton's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-11. As for Two Eagle River, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Alberton will face off against Thompson Falls at TBD on Saturday. As for Two Eagle River, they will face off against St. Regis at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Regis is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
