There's no place like home for Mt. Pleasant Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Master's Hand Christian Warriors 55-52. With that win, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Pleasant Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Battles, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Brown, who posted 13 points.

Despite the loss, Master's Hand Christian still got an impressive performance from Braedon Canuteson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards. Canuteson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Max Minor, who put up 12 points.

Mt. Pleasant Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Master's Hand Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.

Mt. Pleasant Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-56 defeat against Evangel Christian on the 9th. As for Master's Hand Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-40 victory against Valley Fellowship Christian Academy on the 13th.
